Super Eagles defender Azubuike Egwuekwe scored on his debut for Finnish side Kuopion Palloseura (KuPS) helping them to a 0-3 win over Mikkeli.
Egwuekwe who received his international transfer certificate just in time to make his debut for KuPS in the Suomen cup was on from the start and capped his impressive showing with a goal in the 78th minute.
Aside his goal he posted an impressive performance winning almost all the aerial battles he was involved in and stopped all incursions towards his goal area.
His debut will no doubt gladden the hearts of fans of the club as they chanted his name after the game.
KuPS will be hoping his debut performance rub on the other two Nigerians on their books in Gbolahan Salami and Paul Onobi who are yet to make their debut.
