Wasiu Jimoh is on his way to FC Ifeanyi Uba despite Lobi Stars believing the Shooting Stars forward was about to sign for them.
“We are disappointed with the antics of the player and Ifeanyi Uba, they didn’t act as professionals, we have done our bit with Wasiu Jimoh, all that was left was for him to be registered by the League Management Company (LMC) but he has decided to join Ifeanyi Uba” a visibly angry official of Lobi Stars told Owngoalnigeria.com.
“We believe they used our offer to the player to lure him, they offered him above what they knew we have already agreed with him, it is sad and it’s about time LMC do something about clubs with such antics”.
Jimoh is widely regarded as one of the fastest winger in the league with a good goal conversion rate plus his abilities from set pieces is about the best in the league.
He started off his career with Kwara Football Academy and represented Nigeria at the 2015 Africa U-20 championship in Senegal which Nigeria won.
