German second division side Eintracht Braunschweig have beaten fellow second divison side Greuther Furth to the signature of Viking of Norway forward Suleiman Abdullahi.
Last season Braunschweig finished 8th on the German second division log one spot ahead of Spvgg Greuther Furth and they have once again confirm their supremacy over the Furth based side by pipping them to Abdullahi’s signature.
Eintract Braunshweig succeeded where fellow German second division side St. Pauli failed in January by agreeing a fee for the forward as opposed to St. Pauli who had a bid rejected for the services of the 19 year old who joined Viking a year ago.
” Abdullahi will be joining Eintracht Braunschweig in the coming days, the deal was agreed this week despite Greuther Furth efforts to sign him” a source close to the deal told Owngoalnigeria.com.
Eintracht Braunschweig reportedly agreed a transfer fee close to one million euros with Viking of Norway for the 19 year old who scored five goals in 13 games during the first stanza of the league in Norway this season.
