2015 U-17 World Youth Championship top scorer Victor Osimhen was the star man for Nigeria U-23 in their 9-1 thrashing of Nigeria Youth Service (NYSC) team.
The Nigerian team was a mixture of both the home based Eagles players in camp for the AFCON 2017 qualifiers against Egypt and the U-23 who will take on their Brazilian counterparts saw 10 goals with 9 going to the Nigerian team.
Osimhen who joined the team on Wednesday from his base in Germany where he has been training with Wolfsburg his next destination when he turns 18 scored twice in the first half to give the Nigeria team a 4-1 lead going into the half time break.
Chibuzor Okonkwo,Bright Onyedikachi and Stanley Dimgba all scored a goal apiece with Etebo Oghenekaro scoring a brace as well to complete the rout.
