The Super Eagles of Nigeria are already feeling the effect of missing out on next year Africa Cup Of Nations as they have now dropped to 67th in the latest FIFA rankings released by the world soccer governing body.
Nigeria are also no longer in the top 10 of footballing nation in Africa as they are presently placed 14th in the continent just one spot ahead of South Africa after dropping 5 spots below their last month rankings.
Algeria still remain the number one ranked team in Africa 33rd on the global rankings with Cote d’Ivoire second in the continent while Ghana,Senegal,Egypt,Cape Verde Islands,Tunisia,Congo Dr and Guinea.
The next FIFA rankings will be in a month time with Nigeria expected to drop further due to their failure to qualify for next year AFCON.
