Thompson Unachi Ekpe says he is determined to repay the faith and trust the manager of Molde Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has in his abilities when the second stanza of the league commence in Norway.
Ekpe was sparingly used in the first stanza as he is still adapting to the demands of professional football after his move to Europe three months ago from Nigeria where he didn’t play in any of the various professional leagues in Nigeria.
However as the beginning of the second stanza draws close the defensive midfielder who is slighty above six feet in height believes his adaptation period are over and he is now pushing for a regular run in the side.
“I watched Ole Gunnar Solskajaer during his playing days with Manchester United and when such a high profile person who played at the highest level in football shows faith in your abilities, you certainly don’t want to let them down” He told Owngoalnigeria.com in Kaduna where he is presently on holiday.
“I’m hoping for a better second half of the season to repay the faith that made the manager sanctioned my signing, I am willing to push with all have got to earn a spot in the team”.
His case has also been helped by the departure of Liberia international Dulee Johnson who plays same role as the Nigerian.
