Peter Odemwingie is clearly on the look-out for a new club, after dropping a hint online that he would be keen on joining Leeds United in the near future.
The 35-year-old former Nigeria international was released by Rotherham United at the end of the January transfer window and is currently looking for a new club.
After numerous moves across England, it appears the former West Bromwich Albion man now has an eye on Elland Road.
With Leeds winning just two of their four games this month and looking for competition to keep Chris strikers Wood and Marcus Antonsson on their toes, Odemwingie could prove a useful option.
The free agent liked a tweet on Twitter suggesting he should join up with Garry Monk’s side, shortly after going on talkSPORT to discuss his future.
Odemwingie, who failed to score in his seven league games with Rotherham this season, knows a thing or two about Leeds after he was shown a red card against them whilst with the former back in November.
Some Leeds fans, however, encouraged the move to happen after Odemwingie’s social media activity.
