Highly rated Nigerian forward Dennis Bonaventure has arrived Belgium to formally kick off his career with Club Brugge following his transfer from Ukrainian side Zorya last month.
The fleet footed forward is expected to play a big role in the team’s campaign in this year UEFA Champions League where they will be involved from the qualifying rounds of the tournament.
Nicknamed Nigerian Neymar he distinguished himself in his debut season with Zorya scoring vital goals and twice against league champions Shakhtar Donestk, and also played in the Europa League where he starred in both legs against Manchester United in the group stage.
Quick,skillful and full of invention, the 19 year old started his career at the prestigious Football College Abuja before he was spotted by scouts of Zorya 18 months ago.
He told this portal last month that he is hoping to have a strong second season to help him achieve his dream of playing for the senior national team of Nigeria in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
