Nigeria international striker Henry Onyekuru who is on a season long loan to Belgium side Anderlecht from English Premier League side Everton is in disagreement with the team over the next step in his career.
Onyekuru joined Everton in the summer of 2017 from modest Belgium side Eupen on the strength of his 24 goals haul in his first season in the top flight of the Belgium league. Work permit issues made Everton to loan him to Anderlecht.
After a slow start to life at the club he burst to his real potential with goals and assists before his rise was cut short by an injury which has kept him out for over three months despite the fact that he escaped going under the knife for surgery.
Now back to full fitness but yet to play in a competitive game, Everton and Anderlecht have reportedly agreed to extend his loan for another year but the player is not keen on agreeing to the decision.
It is believed that he wants to leave his options open until after the World Cup, while there are insinuations that he also want to wait till the end of the season to see if Anderlecht will qualify for Europe before agreeing to the extension.
