The failure of Nigeria international defender Chidozie Awaziem to make the grade at Portuguese side FC Porto this season could see him return back to French Ligue 1 side Nantes.
Awaziem spent last season on loan to Nantes and performed admirably well but since his return to Porto he has failed to pick up from where he left off last season.
Although he featured in their pre season games, he Is still waiting for his first appearance after three competitive games this season and his inactivity could affect his national team chances with Nigeria.

Porto are expected to make a decision before the end of the current transfer window especially as Awaziem is yet to commit to a new deal with two years left on his present contract with the club.
