Former Nigeria youth international defender Lukman Zakari has arrived Latvia for training with his new team FS Metta after signing a short term deal, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Zakari was the star defender in the Nigeria U17 team that won the 2015 World Youth Championship with his performance earning him a spot in the final team of the tournament.
He agreed a deal to join Tunisian side Sfaxien but a transfer ban slammed on the club by FIFA and a change in the management of the team claimed the move one year ago.
