Former Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Taribo West says he was impressed with the performance of the duo of William Troost-Ekong and Ola Aina in Nigeria’s 4-0 win over Libya in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers.
The duo according to West did themselves a whole lot of proud with their performance in the win considering how they stood up to the Libyans despite the not too assured performance of the team in defence.
Aina was introduced very early for Shehu Abdullahi who went off injured while Ekong lasted the entire duration of the game and even wore the captain armband following the substitution of Ahmed Musa.
