Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively confirm an approach from Nigeria to England U17 shot stopper Arthur Okonkwo who is presently on the books of English Premier League side Arsenal.
Okonkwo has progressed to the U21s of Arsenal at the age of 17 with his talent earning him a place in the first team during trainings, a sign of how he is rated by the technical crew of the London based side.
Nigeria approached his family over a potential switch of allegiance which will see him team up with the U20 team of Nigeria ahead of their engagement next year at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
