The international career of Trabzonspor of Turkey midfielder Ogenyi Onazi who recently alleged a gang up against him in the senior national team of Nigeria is not over yet, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Onazi questioned the decision of coach Gernot Rohr to leave him out of the squad for the games against South Africa in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers and the friendly game against Uganda on the grounds of his poor fitness.
The former Lazio man suggest he is fit and also hinted that a similar gang up against him made him to miss out on playing games for Nigeria at the recently concluded World Cup 2018 in Russia.
Despite his opposition to the claims of the coach and his theory of alleged gang up against him, coach Rohr has refused to read meaning into the above and will call the 25 year old if he is needed for future games.
