Coach of Spanish La Liga side Villarreal Javi Calleja says club rave of the moment Samuel Chukwueze was one of the best players for his side in their 1-1 draw against Levante last weekend.
Chukwueze was handed his La Liga bow with Calleja naming him in the starting line up for the game and he didn’t disappoint with a performance that earned him the highest rating among players of Villarreal.
His performance has not gone unnoticed by the coach who took the risk of handing the 19 year old a start on his debut in the La Liga as he was full of praises for the newly invited Super Eagles forward.
The coach went as far as saying he showed the rest of his teammates how to play in a game of such magnitude describing his performance as one which was laced with no atom of fear in his approach.
“Samu (Chukwueze) and Miguelón played at a high level. That’s the path everyone should be following. The youngsters showed the rest of the team how to play today. In football, you need to play with happiness, intensity and without fear”, the coach said in his assessment of his team after the game.
