Coach of Spanish La Liga side Villarreal says fans of the club should expect more from their rave of the moment Samuel Chukwueze after his maiden goal in the league in their 2-2 draw against Rayo Vallecano.
Javi Calleja was once again full of praise for the 19 year old Nigerian who scored the opener for his team over the weekend with a sublime piece of skill to get past his markers before slotting home with ease.
Calleja while speaking on the performance of Chukwueze who was once again rated the best player on the pitch for Villarreal said more should be expected of the forward in subsequent games.
” He still has a lot to learn and offer. It’s nice to see him put into practice things he was taught in training. When he starts doing things on his own then the real talent will manifest”, the coach said in his post match interview.
” Like every young player who is new to the first team he still plays with caution. In the coming days he will be at ease and hopefully show more reason why we have faith in him”, he remarked.
