Samuel Chukwueze has found himself in strange company after making the shortlist for the best young player in the Spanish top division alongside World Cup winner Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona and also highly rated Brazilian wonder kid Vinicius Jnr of Real Madrid.
Chukwueze has taken the La Liga by storm this season after making the breakthrough at Villarreal with his maiden goal last weekend making the shortlist for the goal of the week.
Presently in the camp of the senior national team of Nigeria, the 19 year old will likely make his debut against South Africa in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers or in the friendly game against Uganda three days later.
