The performance of Samuel Chukwueze in what is his breakthrough season at Villarreal has won him accolades from former Cameroon ace Lauren Etame Meyer.
Lauren now works as a pundit in most La Liga games and during Villarreal’s game against Huesca last weekend he has nothing but praises for Chukwueze who was Villarreal’s best player in the game.
” He is a very good footballer. Can score and also create plus he is very good with the ball at his feet. He is the best and probably most complete 19 year old I’ve seen in a while in the La Liga”, Lauren said while speaking on the game.
Chukwueze has four goals this season with two coming in the league, one in the Europa League in addition to one in the Copa Del Rey provides much more than goals according to Lauren.
” Most teams need players who can offer them balance and something different in attack especially for a team like Villarreal who are use to having the ball. He compliments their style very well”, he concluded.
