Hot in demand Spezia forward David Okereke once again showed his undoubted talent with a goal and an assist for his team in their 3-2 win against Benevento in the Serie B.
Okereke provided the assist for Alessio Da Cruz to put his team 2-1 before scoring in the 67 minutes to kill any hope of a late come back by Benevento with the win also lifting his team to 8th position on the log.
The 21 year old now has eight league goals and ten assists to his name from 24 games, a form which has alerted top teams in Europe including Serie A giants Juventus who are heavily rumoured to be leading the queue to sign him.
A product of Football Academy Abuja, Okereke has worked is way back into the Serie B side after spending last season on loan to Serie C side Cosenza after two and half years in the first team of Spezia.
He is expected to depart for Tunisa later today to team up with the Nigeria U23 team for their AFCON U23 Cup of Nations Qualifiers game against Libya on Wednesday and hopefully he will also be around for the return leg of the fixture in Asaba in a week time.
