The Super Eagles of Nigeria had their first full training session today ahead of their quarter final game against Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Wednesday.

Coach of the Nigerian team Gernot Rohr watched the players trained for two hours and during the session effected changes in the team and also in the formations.

Rohr had one team lined up in 4-2-3-1 which usually see them revert to 4-3-3 when in possession and the other team which looks like the possible team for the game as it has lots of the regular players were lined up in a 3-5-2 formation.

Super Eagles have played the 4-2-3-1 formation in the games they have played so far at the ongoing 2019 Africa Cup of Nations but if the training session of the team is anything to go by, they might switch to a different style against South Africa.

Below is how the team lined up in training with most of the regular players expected to be in the team against South Africa playing for the team that won the practice game 3-1.

Lineup :

1. Daniel Akpeyi

2. William Troost-Ekong

3. Kenneth Omeruo

4. Chidozie Awaziem

5. Ola Aina

6. Samuel Kalu

7. Wilfred Ndidi

8. Oghenekaro Etebo

9. Odion Ighalo

10. Alex Iwobi

11. ‎Ahmed Musa
