Fans of Italian Serie A side Napoli vent their anger on the exit of the team from Coppa Italia on their record signing Victor Osimhen after their 1-3 loss yesterday to Atalanta in the second leg of their semi final clash.
Osimhen was handed a start as Napoli aim to seal a spot after the first leg tie ended in a 0-0 draw. The Nigerian was however unable to help his team seal a win.
In what was a subdue performance from the entire Napoli team but with scores at 1-2, Osimhen had a glorious chance to bring his team level but his effort fail to beat Pierluigi Gollina.
His team were punished for the miss almost immediately with Atalanta scoring the tilted goal that effectively seal their spot in the final ahead of last season’s winners of the tournament.
After the game fans of the team went all out on the Nigerian on a Napoli platform citing his expensive transfer fee as a panic buy as he hasn’t shown he is worth that amount of money so far.
