The football family in Nigeria have been thrown into a state of mourning following the demise of Kwara United left back Zakaria Lasisi also known as Azeez Saka.
‎His unfortunate demise happened this morning during the training session of the team, after he slumped unchallenged and was confirmed dead at the hospital.
A left full back by trade, he joined Kwara United from fellow Nigeria National League side Zamfara United before the start of the new NNL season.
He has failed to nail a spot in the team of high flying Kwara United this season with just one appearance to ‎his team this season, which came in the state FA Cup final against ABS FC.
The former captain of Zamfara United has been buried according to Islamic rites‎.
