Former Nigeria youth international Stanley Ohawuchi has been voted the best foreign player in Egypt for the year 2015.
The Nigerian who is presently the top scorer in the top division in Egypt was presented with the award yesterday and immediately gave his thanks to his teammates, club and coaches.
“Thanks to God for making me the best foreign player in Egypt for 2015, and thanks to my president, Mr Maged Sammy, club director Mr Hazem Khayrat, coaches,players and my agent Mr Yahia Aly and Mr Ibrahim Azab” He posted on facebook.
“All those who voted for me, thanks to y’all and God bless you y’all amen”.
Ohawuchi who has experience playing in Spain and Malta is reportedly being chased by a host of clubs notably among them Egyptian giants Al-Ahly.
