Owngoalnigeria.com has received a picture of Olarewaju Kayode who recently joined English Premier League giants Manchester City from Austria Wien upon his arrival for his medical at the Etihad Stadium.
The Nigerian arrived England for talks with Newcastle United but a phone call from Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola helped City beat the Magpies to his signature.
Kayode finished as top scorer in the Austrian league last season, and also got voted as the best player in the league but he still isn’t eligible for a work permit in England, hence the club has loaned him out to Girona.
He is expected to arrive Spain this weekend to team up with the newly promoted La-Liga side where he will spend the rest of the season on loan.
