German youth international defender Felix Uduokhai who is seriously being chased by Nigeria to switch allegiance to them caused panic in Germany when he pulled out of their U21 squad.
Uduokhai was called up to the squad for their games during the international break but the 19 year old pulled out of the squad few days to when they resumed training.
His withdrawal from the squad raised eyebrows because it came at a time when rumours about a potential switch of allegiance to Nigeria has gathered pace.
“Uduokhai pulled out of the U21 squad due to injury not because he wants to switch allegiance to Nigeria as some are speculating. He is back in training with Wolfsburg “, German Journalist Roland Mark told Owngoalnigeria.com.
