Nigerian newspaper Sportinglife reports that the players received $2,000 each for the win as that is the flat rate agreed for the team as match bonus in friendly games.
According to the reports the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) are already considering organising more high profile international friendly games before the World Cup in Russia to boost their financial powers.
In a related development, the NFF have also forwarded the World Cup bonus agreement they had with players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria to the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) ‎.
