Bright Edomwonyi repaid the faith Austrian side Sturm Graz have in him by scoring his first career hattrick in their 4-1 win over Rheindorf Altach.
Edomwonyi who was injured for the best part of last season grabbed his treble in the 20th,89th and 90th to take the match ball home.
Aside his goals he provided the pass from which Sascha Horvath scored the first goal of the game in an all round performance that showed why the club kept on playing him despite his goal drought.
The hattrick took his season’s tally to 5 goals in 21 games in the league and his fourth in as many games.
