Top scorer at the last U-17 World Youth Championship, Victor Osimhen arrived the camp of the Nigeria U-20 team yesterday night and had his first training session with the team this morning.
His arrival will boost the morale of the U-20 team currently being handled by Nigeria U-17 winning coach of 2015 Emmanuel Amunike ahead of their Africa Youth Championship qualifiers against Burundi.
Owngoalnigeria.com gathered the 17 year old who is expected to join German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg when he turns 18 year old is also a member of the Nigeria U-23 team.
As exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com ,Osmihen will be in Nigeria till November when he is expected to join his club teammates in Germany for more practice with the team.
He is expected to feature prominently in Wolfsburg’s pre season plans this summer as part of the club’s idea of slowly integrating the talented teen into their first team set up in a not too distant future.
