Hot on the heels of confessions made by head coach of the Nigeria U-23 Samson Siasia about the talent of Sadiq Umar of AS Roma, two of his teammates have now joined the coach in singing his praise.
Sadiq we gathered from his teammates that prior to the death of his father he has been simply unplayable in camp during training games and drills.
” I usually don’t want him playing against me, I must confess, he is very strong,skillful and tall, he protects the ball very well and bring others into play with ease, he has been a revelation” One of his teammate told Owngoalnigeria on the condition of anonymity.
Another who spoke to Owngoalnigeria said the forward is proving why he is so highly rated in Italy and clearly about the best striker in the team at the moment.
“He plays for Roma in the Serie A, so his abilities shouldn’t be in doubt but when you play against him then you will know why he is so highly talked about in Italy, he is the best striker we have in camp right now with all due respect to the others”
Siasia during the week tipped Sadiq to play for the Nigeria senior national team in a not too distant future going by what he has seen of the 19 year old before he returned back to the Nigeria for his late father’s burial.
