The all time leading scorer in the history of the English Premier League Alan Shearer says Nigeria international defender Ola Aina is among the best right backs in the English Premier League this season after his goal for Nottingham Forest in their 3-0 win over West Ham.
In what was his 10th appearance for the season, the 28 year old who have been consistent since the start of the season stepped up his game to help his team maintain their new found form.
Aina struck a sweet left foot volley in the second half of the win which took them to third place in the English Premier, and his performances all season haven’t gone unnoticed by Shearer who is now working as a matchday pundit for Premier League productions.
” I think he ranks among the best in the division at the moment. He has been consistent since the start of the season and his improvement in certain areas is clear to see”, the scorer of 260 goals in the English Premier League said while speaking on the outcome of the game.
