German Bundesliga side have shunned plans of sending Nigeria U20 winger Sani Suleiman on loan next season, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
19 year old Sani joined the team in the January transfer window from Slovakian side AS Trencin, but an injury picked up in training ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Now fully fit and actively involved in pre season, the club feels he is ready for a spot in the team next season and has communicated to his representatives that he won’t be going out on loan, despite the expected signing of a new winger.
The winger will take up one of the spots on the flanks, which will be vacated by Yan Diomande when his proposed transfer to Real Madrid becomes official.
A member of the Nigeria U20 team to the last World Cup, he is among the names listed by head coach of the U23 team of Nigeria Eric Chelle, who also doubles as the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria.
