The shot stopper of the Nigeria Under-23 team Emmanuel Daniel who is well known for his abilities in stopping strikers especially penalty kicks took his beautiful bride to the altar today to tie the knot in Kaduna state, Nigeria.
Daniel and his wife Mercy Tanko were joined in holy matrimony at ECWA Hausa Ungwan Boro, Sabon Tasha in Kaduna state, Nigeria and a colourful wedding reception followed afterwards at Grace Valley Hall.
Soft spoken and ever smiling he was the star of the Nigeria U-23 team at the recently concluded U-23 Africa Nations Championship which Nigeria won saving two spot kicks during the course of the game.
He presently plays for Nigeria Premier League side Enugu Rangers and despite offers from other teams in Nigeria, He told owngoalnigeria.com that his intention is to remain at the Enugu based side at least for this season but might weigh up his options after the Olympics in Brazil.
