Nigeria international Alex Iwobi has heaped praises on the fans of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, terming them as crazy fans who can kill a player with love.
Iwobi scored his first international goal for Nigeria in their 2-1 win over Zambia last weekend in the CAF World Cup 2018 qualifying series, where Nigeria now leads group B after Algeria were held to a draw.
The Arsenal forward who is no stranger to being shown affection by fans, has however praised the fans of the Nigeria senior national team for their love and support.
” Nigerians are passionate about their team and players. The love they show players of the national team is way beyond description. They scream my name everywhere I go” He said
” From the hotel to the airport, to the training pitch, and even on the pitch. They can kill you with love. Such passion makes one want to give it all when playing for the nation”.
