Newly appointed head coach of the Nigeria U23 team Eric Chelle has drawn up a list of players based abroad who are eligible to represent the team, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Chelle will in addition to his role as the head coach of the senior national team, is warming up to the idea of ensuring that Nigeria qualifies for the football event of the Olympic for the first time since 2016.
To that effect while he has stepped up the team’s scouting in the local scene, he has also taken a bold step by ensuring that foreign based players are part of his plans from the get go.
We can exclusively reveal that he has already penciled down as many as 35 players within the age limit, who are doing very well in leagues abroad.
A source revealed ten of the players who are in the list of the coach, and it includes recently signed Brighton and Hove Albion winger Zadok Yohanna and RB Leipzig winger Sani Suleiman.
Dropcap the popularization of the “ideal measure” has led to advice such as “Increase font size for large screens and reduce font size for small screens.” While a good measure does improve the reading experience, it’s only one rule for good typography. Another rule is to maintain a comfortable font size.

A collection of textile samples lay spread out on the table – Samsa was a travelling salesman – and above it there hung a picture that he had recently cut out of an illustrated magazine and housed in a nice, gilded frame. It showed a lady fitted out with a fur hat and fur boa who sat upright, raising a heavy fur muff that covered the whole of her lower arm towards the viewer.
Gregor then turned to look out the window at the dull weather. Drops of rain could be heard hitting the pane, which made him feel quite sad. “How about if I sleep a little bit longer and forget all this nonsense”, he thought, but that was something he was unable to do because he was used to sleeping on his right, and in his present state couldn’t get into that position. However hard he threw himself onto his right, he always rolled back to where he was.
The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.

Ex Nigeria U20 captain Daniel Daga has been cleared off the allegations of sexual assault which halted his career progression with Norwegian side Molde, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Daga joined the team over a year ago, and was handed indefinite suspension when the matter of sexual assault started. The club confirmed the issue with an official statement.
“This is a serious matter, and we take the charges very seriously. These types of cases are extremely demanding for everyone involved”, Molde chairman Odd Ivar Moen said.
The legal team of the 18 year old Nigerian however strongly denied wrongdoing. His lawyer, Astrid Bolstad, said the midfielder acknowledges a sexual encounter occurred but insists it was consensual.
“My client does not plead guilty and believes he has done nothing illegal,” Bolstad said.
“There is no suspicion of violence or threats. He looks forward to having the case heard in court so he can clear his name.”
In a recent statement released by the club earlier today, they confirmed that the 19 year old is now free to return to the squad of the team, after he was found not guilty by an appeal court.
“Daniel Daga has been unanimously acquitted in the criminal case that has been heard by the Frostating Court of Appeal. Molde FK takes note of the verdict, even though the verdict is not yet final”, a statement on their website reads.
– We have today received information about the Court of Appeal’s ruling. This has been a demanding period for everyone involved, and we want to approach it with respect and consideration for everyone who has been affected, says CEO Vegard Storvik.
The president of Turkish side Bursaspor has confirmed their search for a striker in the summer transfer window ahead of the start of pre season training, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Enes Çelik confirmed the club are weighing up their options as they look to add a striker. He said: “It might happen after the Bolu training camp. We won’t rush. We said let’s think about it a little more.
“We want to meticulously find the most suitable one among the available options. The only thing left is the striker position.
“We will hand over the team to our coach when we go to the Bolu training camp, except for one striker”, he stated.
His statement has now been followed with reports that they are among the teams looking at bringing in Nigeria international striker Kelechi Iheanacho, who is a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Scottish side Celtic.
The 29-year-old Nigerian has yet to decide his next move despite attracting interest from multiple clubs across Europe and beyond, with the club missing its option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
Turkish outlet Olay reported that Super Lig side Bursaspor has made “close contact” with Iheanacho over a potential transfer, although no agreement has been reached at this stage.
The forward has already received lucrative approaches from Turkey and South America after his availability became known, while he has also been offered to the Brazilian side Vasco da Gama
Head coach of Inter Milan Cristian Chivu has given another chance at the club to Nigeria international midfielder Ebenezer Akinsamiro following his return from a season long loan with relegated side Pisa, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that there are new developments regarding the midfield of Inter Milan with Akinsanmiro back at the club after Pisa failed to activate the purchase clause in his contract. Although there is still a chance that it will happen.
The report stated:
“Akinsanmiro’s situation is slightly different, as Pisa was unable to activate the purchase option, which was set at around 7.5 million euros, due to a bureaucratic loophole or obstacle.
Highly rated by Chivu who knew him very well during his days with the youth team where the Romanian was coach appears to be in his favour.
As such, he may stay with Inter unless an offer worth around 10 million euros arrives at the club’s headquarters at Via della Liberazione.”

Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle is keen on adding a new defender and midfielder to the team before the start of the qualifiers for the next AFCON, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Nigeria will be on the road to qualifying for another AFCON in September after finishing third at the last edition in Morocco. Chelle has started preparations in earnest.
In the same group with Madagascar, Guinea-Bissau, and co-hosts Tanzania, only one team will qualify from the group unlike other groups because Tanzania automatically qualifies as host.
Chelle per what we exclusively gathered has already opened a line of communication with a midfielder, who is playing for a top European League on playing for Nigeria.
He has also reached out to a defender who is of dual nationality but hasn’t been capped at any level. Both players are two among a shortlist of five new players who could possibly join the team.
Head coach of the U20 team of Nigeria Abdullahi Maikaba has picked Chelsea bound 17 year old striker Abdulmuiz Adeleke to lead the team’s attack at the WAFU B tournament, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Maikaba finalised his squad for the tournament during the week bringing an end to a process that has seen over 100 players pushing to make the team for the tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.
Muiz who came to limelight at the U17 WAFU B tournament two years ago was picked to lead the team’s attack. He is billed to join Chelsea when he turns 18.
At the U17 tournament he scored a brace in the 3-0 win over Togo and followed it up with another brace in the third place playoff against Ghana, ending the tournament with four goals despite Nigeria failing to pick a ticket to the U17 AFCON.
He will be hoping to replicate or better his showing when the U20 tournament gets underway. The Nigerian team will leave for the Ivorian city of Abidjan on the 20th of July as they bid to make it to the U20 AFCON via the tournament, which serves as qualifiers.
It will be played between July 26th to August 9th between 8 teams. Nigeria have won the last two editions of the tournament under coach Ladan Bosso and Aliyu Zubairu.
Maikaba will be aiming to match their feat, but more importantly qualify for the AFCON, which is the primary purpose of the tournament.
The agent of Philip Otele who recently made his debut for the senior national team of Nigeria is unhappy with the current valuation of the player, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Otele spent last season on loan to German Bundesliga side Hamburg from Swiss side FC Basel. The Germans had the option of signing him permanently after the loan deal but there have not been discussions in that regards.
However he is still keen on an exit from the Swiss side before the close of the summer transfer window, but it won’t be at the price tag that he was on at the start of the season.
His representative told us in an exclusive chat that Basle now values him a lot higher than it was previously, largely due to his debut for the senior national team of Nigeria during the summer.
He played five games for Nigeria during the break including the high profile friendly games against Poland and Portugal respectively. The club now believe his fee should be higher.
There are teams already interested in his services but there are fears that they will baulk at the current price tag.
Former coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr says he was heavily opposed when he tried to follow the route of Morocco during his time as coach of the Nigerian team, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Morocco have been one of the revelation of the ongoing World Cup with a team largely made up of players born outside the country. A route Rohr toed during his time as coach of the Nigerian team.
Rohr was very aggressive in his approach, but met stiff resistance from section of Nigerians in particular former players who accused him of neglecting players born and raised in Nigeria.
The coach said he is surprise that they are now praising Morocco for a template that he was attacked and opposed during his close to six years spell as coach of Nigeria.
” I identify it ( luring players born abroad) as the way to bridge the gap between teams in Africa and the top teams in the world. The football education is not the same at a certain level, which with all due respect give the players born abroad an edge”, the coach said.
” During my time in Nigeria I was heavily opposed for doing it. Now it’s what many people are praising Morocco for. The approach is normal as long as the players are eligible nationals”, he concluded.
Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle who also doubles as the coach of the U23 team of Nigeria has received a list of players eligible to represent the team at the next Olympic games qualifiers, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Chelle is tasked with ensuring that Nigeria make it to the football event of the Olympic for the first time in ten years, and he is leaving no stone unturned in the quest.
His idea is to build a core from players playing in lowly rated European Leagues and from teams based in Nigeria. He has already started with the foreign based players.
Sources say his scouts have identified over 40 players eligible for the team from leagues in Europe, and about 30 have also been scouted locally for the same purpose.
The list we understand includes some players who have been involved with the Super Eagles as recently as the Unity Cup tournament in London, which the team won by beating Jamaica 3-0 in the final.
Tottenham Hotspur has a new manager, Roberto De Zerbi. He is changing the team completely. His tactics are risky, aggressive, and already making a huge impact on the Premier League 2026 season.
This article explains how the team plays now and how these changes affect your football bets. If you like gambling, you will also see how platforms like Pinko casino update their betting odds for these exciting games. The main news is Andy Robertson. He left Liverpool and joined Spurs for free. This is a massive transfer. You will learn how the experienced left-back fits into the new tactical system and how his passing helps the team control the ball.
Squad Overhaul and Structural Changes
The club changed many players during the recent Transfer window 2026. Old players left, and new football players arrived to fit the fast style.
New Defense: Slow defenders are out. Fast defenders are in. They pass the ball well even when opponents press them.
New Midfield: The middle of the pitch has smart players. They make short, accurate passes to keep the ball.
New Attack: The wingers stay near the touchline. This stretches the opponent’s defense and creates free space in the center.
This big squad rebuild changed the formation to a clear 4-2-3-1 system. You can use this fact for your bets, as this setup creates many corner kicks and yellow cards.
Andy Robertson’s Free Transfer Arrival
Securing a world-class left-back to strengthen the squad is always a massive win for any team. This was exactly the case when the Scotland captain joined Liverpool from Hull City in 2017. The Scotland captain has won big trophies before and knows how to win. In the new system, Andy Robertson plays a special role.
He does not just defend. When the team gets the ball, he runs far forward on the left side like an attacker. His job is to cross the ball into the box and pass safely when opponents attack him. This amazing Free transfer gives the team high confidence and better tactics. You can use this for your bets, as his good passes will create many goals this season.
Challenges in Building a New Project
Building a new football team is very hard. The new Tottenham head coach needs time, but the club wants to win every game right now.
Hard Tactics: The new play style is very complicated. Players need many months of training to learn exactly where to run and pass.
Big Pressure: Fans and owners get angry if the team loses. This creates heavy mental stress for the players.
Strong Rivals: The league has many excellent teams. Every opponent will punish Tottenham for small mistakes in defense.
The team will make simple mistakes in the first few months. You should check the latest Liverpool transfer news to see how other top teams are getting stronger. This helps you understand Tottenham’s real chances. Expect the team to let in goals in almost every match at the start.
Conclusion: A Bold Rebuild with High Expectations
The new plan at Tottenham is risky, but it can bring big success in the future. The club is changing completely to play fast, attacking football. The players need time to learn the rules, but the team is getting very strong.
This big change is great for your football bets. When the players understand the tactics, the team will win many games. You can place your bets on platforms like Pinko casino to get good odds. Follow the team every week, because they will soon help you win many bets.
