Kelechi Iheanacho fine performance for Manchester City in the FA cup has earned him praises once again from his manager Manuel Pellegrini.
The Chilean was happy with the 19 year old who scored the team’s second goal in their 3-0 win away at fellow premier league team Norwich City, His 5th of all the season in all competition.
After praising his fringe players for stepping up in the absence of players like David Silva,Fernandinho and Yaya Toure, He specifically mentioned Iheanacho as one who had a fine game.
“One of the merits of this squad is to be involved in so many competitions even with the injuries to important players,that’s why when you have option, as Kelechi had today.
“I think it’s very important to demonstrate why they are in this squad. All the players are involved mentally and physically and they know that they are important if we want to continue playing in all competitions.
