Orji Okonkwo who reportedly went missing is according to reports sourced by fast rising Nigeria website owngoalnigeria.com set to join Spezia in the Italian Serie B.
He is expected to join the team alongside David Okereke from Football Academy Abuja and they will both help strengthen Spezia’s Primavera team who are currently campaigning in two tournaments.
Okonkwo was a world cup winner with Nigeria at the last U-17 world cup but following interest from English Premier Leagues side West Ham and Tottenham Hotspurs went missing.
However he retraced his footstep back to Italy where he will be hoping to progress from Spezia to a top club like Nura Abdullahi and Sadiq Umar who are presently at Roma with Sadiq now a starter in the Serie A.
