An agent who tried and failed to secure a transfer for Nigeria rave of the moment Chisom Chikatara has revealed Abia Warriors are demanding $1m for the 22 year old forward.
Speaking to Owngoalnigeria.com the agent who wouldn’t want his name mentioned said he has thrice failed to secure a deal for Chikatara due to Abia Warriors high demands.
“I have thrice been disappointed in my bid to secure a transfer for Chikatara as they kept on increasing the price for every single offer that comes,it was frustrating” He told Owngoalnigeria.com
He further said one of the clubs contacted him after Chikatara’s hattrick against Niger Republic at the ongoing Africa Nation Championship only for him to be told only a bid starting from $1m will be accepted by Abia Warriors.
“This morning I spoke to Abia Warriors and they told me the asking price is $1m have already contacted the club to tell them what Abia Warriors now wants, Am waiting for their response”.
