According to leaks gathered by owngoalnigeria.com Chippa United captain James Okwuosa might be heading to Orlando Pirates at the end of the season.
Okwuosa has been at Chippa since 2002 and but source close to the player told owngoalnigeria.com he is attracting interest from Pirates and might leave at the end of the season.
His contract with Chippa is set to expire at the end of the current season and he isn’t keen on renewing his deal at Chippa due to the reported interest from Pirates.
“Okwuosa might join Pirates at the end of the season after the expiration of his deal but at the moment he is focused on doing well for his current team” He told owngoalnigeria.com.
The 26 year old centre back who has three caps for Nigeria is not the only Nigerian at the club as they also have Ugonna Uzochukwu and Daniel Akpeyi on their payroll.
