The last Nigerian to score a goal against Spanish giant Real Madrid is presently training with newly promoted Nigeria Premier League side Plateau United as he bid to earn a contract with the Jos based side.

Ibeji last played for Ranchers Bees locally but shot to prominence in the early 2000’s as he was part of a Lobi Stars team that took the Nigeria League by storm.
He earned a move to Al-Ahly of Egypt where in 2006 he gained global attention after scoring the lone goal in Ah-Ahly 1-0 win over Real Madrid earning himself te nickname “Real Madrid Killer”.
Vastly experienced and highly skilled, his experience will prove vital to Plateau United quest of doing well in the Nigeria Premier League next season under coach Zachary Baraje.
