According to scoop gathered by owngoalnigeria.com talks between Nigeria youth international Mustapha Abdullahi and Polish team Legia Warsaw have broken down and the player won’t be offered a deal by the team.
Abdullahi posted a man of the match performance in one of the trial game he played for the reserve team of Legia Warsaw against Lech Poznan but the 20 year old failed to convince when he trained with the main team.
The Nigeria youth international was also not signed by the team partly due to the recently introduced rule in the Polish league which limits the number of non EU players a team can have at a time.
Legia Warsaw decided against offering Abdullahi a deal alongside fellow trialist Dominik Bottcher but the Nigerian who have been severally disappointed in the past in his bid to take his game abroad will now look elsewhere after recent rejections in Spain,Portugal,Germany,Morrocco and Belgium.
