Super Eagles forward Obafemi Martins have completed his transfer to Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua Greenland from MLS side Seattle Sounders.
According to reports in the Chinese media the 31 year old cost the Shanghai based side $3 million in transfer fee and will pocket twice his earnings at the team.
Martins had his first training session with the team in South Korea where they are presently having their pre season training and he is expected to form a formidable strike force with Senegalese forward Demba Ba who joined the team last year.
The experienced striker who scored 40 times and picked up 23 assists from the 72 games he played at Seattle Sounders have also had stints in Italy,England,Germany and Russia.
