Gregg Berhalter head coach of Columbus Crew rates new Super Eagles invitee Fanendo Adi as one of the best strikers in the MLS.
Speaking at the post match conference after Adi’s strike confined his team to a 2-1 loss to Portland Timbers, the coach reckoned the Nigerian was a big threat to his side all through the game.
“How many guys are like Adi in the league? He asked before answering himself.
“Listen, he’s a big,big boy, he uses his body really well and like I said, there’s not too much many guys in the league like him”
He however admitted his team should have done better against the 25 year old Nigerian in certain situations.
“We could have dealt with Adi better in certain situations”.
