The Super Eagles of Nigeria were today held to a scoreless draw by Nigeria National League side Katsina United in a friendly game ahead of Nigeria’s game against Egypt.
Poor finishing robbed the Eagles of so many goal scoring opportunities even though the NNL side failed to really trouble the goal of the Nigeria senior national team.
The team comprising of home based players yet to be joined by their foreign counterparts ahead of the games against Egypt will now go on a break to allow the players feature for their teams in League games of the Nigeria Premier League.
However players whose team won’t be in action will remain at the team’s camp at the Bolton White Hotel until their teammates return from league games.
