Manchester United have signed Matthew Olosunde after international clearance for the player was received.
During Manchester United summer tour of the USA he trained with the team where it appears like he impressed them for them to have offered him a deal few months after.
18 year old is an American born to Nigerian parents and he came through the youth ranks at New York Red Bulls but quit the team to go to college where he was recently named as one of Duke University recruits.
However he jettisoned the University in favour of a move to Old Trafford to team up with Manchester United in a deal already agreed since the 29th of January but lacking international clearance.
He will however remain with the U-21s for now and pending on his progress he might get his chance in the first team before the season ends.
Although he is a regular for the youth team of the USA he is still eligible for Nigeria at senior level.
