Sunshine Stars of Akure who are yet to win any of their first five games in the Nigeria Premier League have added experience to their squad in a bid to arrest the poor results.
Owngoalnigeria.com can reveal that during the week the Akure Gunners concluded the international transfer of Gbenga Ajala who has played in Vietnam in the last five years.
Ajala made his debut for the team in their 1-0 loss to Giwa FC in Jos after his International Clearance Certificate (ITC) was received by the Nigeria Football Federation.
During his five year stay in Vietnam he spent three years with Dong Thap and had spells with Kien Giang,HV An Giang before returning back to Nigeria.
Prior to his moving to Vietnam he played in the Nigeria Professional Football League for Kwara United and Nassarawa United.
