Awoniyi is on a season long loan to German second division side FSV Frankfurt since joining Liverpool in the summer despite interest from other top clubs following his fine showing for the U-20 and 23 team of Nigeria.
The 18 year old has forced his way into the starting line up at German side FSV Frankfurt where he has played in their last four games but still waiting for his first goal for the struggling second division team.
However his fine form is yet to get the attention of the decision makers at Liverpool as he is yet to be officially communicated if he will be recalled at the end of the season to join them in their pre season tour.
Liverpool are however sure to have three Nigerians on their pre season tea
