The first choice net minder of the Nigeria U-23 Emmanuel Daniel was unable to train with the rest of the team yesterday no thanks to a throat infection.

22 year old Daniel was the hero for Nigeria at the U-23 AFCON saving penalties in the quarterfinals and semifinals tie and for the majority of the tournament was Nigeria’s best player.
