AS Trencin of Slovakia are closing in on the Fortuna League title in Slovakia after a 3-1 win over Spartak Myjava thanks to a goal apiece from their Nigeria duo of Rabiu Ibrahim and Samuel Kalu.
25 year old Rabiu Ibrahim has now equaled his last season tally of four goals in the league while 17 year old Kalu is waxing stronger after scoring his first professional goal on Wednesday in a Cup game against Ruzomberok.
Kalu scored his second goal in as many game in the 76th minute after Rabiu Ibrahim has given them a 46th minute lead before Matus Bero rounded up the scoring for the league leaders.
The 3-1 win moved them to 66 points six points ahead of their closest challengers Slovan Bratislava with less than six games to go before the season comes to an end in Slovakia.
