Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively report that Nigeria U-23 and Akwa United forward Ubong Ekpai is presently undergoing medicals with Israeli side Maccabi Haifa.
Earlier on we had reported that the player belongs to Argentine agent Marcelo Houseman but another FIFA agent David Ouziel corrected our reports via a message directed at our editor with proofs to show he owns the player.
According to him he has been scouting the player the last one year which dates back to when he was playing at Kano Pillars before joining his hometown club, Akwa United this season.
