Celtic of Scotland defender Efe Ambrose who is back in pre season was coy over rumours of Bayern Leverkusen interest in his services.
Ambrose who played in Celtic 2-1 win over Olimpija Ljubljana in a pre season friendly played in Slovenia didn’t rule out a move to Bayern Leverkusen but at the same time feigned ignorance over the move.
” Am not aware of the move, I read about it in the papers like most of you but God is in control, he has the final say on everything about my life” Ambrose told Owngoalnigeria.com.
He also confirmed he has no hard feeling about Celtic refusal to release him for the Rio Olympics even though he would have loved to be at the games with Nigeria.
“It”s always a thing of joy for me when am called up to represent my country, so you can understand why Celtic refusal affected me negatively but then as a professional one has to learn to accept what you can’t change”.
